Frederick is a well accomplished scholar and researcher at Makerere University School of Public Health with a degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in the field of Injury Epidemiology and Prevention – specifically drowning prevention. At PTRI he serves as a faculty member. He has over 16 publications in peer reviewed journals and several newspaper publications and opinions related to public health. He has over 8 years’ experience in professional practice; both in government and non-government organizations. He possesses strong scientific writing and communication skills and a healthy dose of experience in several national and international conference presentations.
