In our PhD collaboration with the Injury Epidemiology and Prevention Research Group of Turku University, PTRI offers doctoral training support in Research Science to successful applicants who embark on a doctoral programme with Turku university through a right of study from the same university. This phase entails advanced trainings in the different aspects of research, field data collection, data analysis, writing of manuscripts, conference attendance, journal clubs and writing & defence of the doctoral thesis. Throughout the programme the student receives individualized support from both the international and local faculty, the former of which is strengthened by biannual visits to the country by faculty from Turku university.
